Shane,

I am writing this letter to express our sincere appreciation for the week that we just spent on one of your luxury houseboats.  To say that the week was enjoyable is simply an understatement.  From the moment we arrived at your dock, it was definitely apparent to all of us that your organization was far better than ones that we have rented from in the past ten or so years.

The entire staff was helpful, friendly, and polite and definitely accommodating in getting our vehicles unloaded in a very quick and efficient manner.  The guys told us to sit back and relax while they unloaded all of our vehicles.  I did forget to mention that there were plenty of adult beverages as well as 4 jet skis and a boat we had to launch before departing the dock.  All of our gear did not even concern the staff in the least bit.  We were loaded in no time and a week of pure pleasure had begun for all of us.  

On or about the middle of the week, our wives noticed that we were running a little low on a few necessities like bread, milk and chips that we needed for afternoon appetizers.  Once again your staff came in like a champion offering our wives to have the groceries picked up in town for us.  I was impressed by this and thought to myself that this was a little above their call of duty but they insisted on making it happen.  We provided a list to your office and continued enjoying a day in the sun.  About two hours later, I see this boat heading towards our boat obviously knowing where he was heading.  To our surprise, yes you guessed it; our groceries had arrived to us on the lake delivered by your company staff.

I have been in the automobile industry all of my life and owned a family run auto dealership in Louisiana where our customer service is how we built our business model.  We were fortunate to have a very successful business that lasted nearly a hundred years until we sold in 2008.  Our family's number one priority was taking care of our customers for over five generations.

With the customer service that you and your staff provided to all of us, your company will be on Lake Ouachita for years to come.  You have an outstanding staff and beautiful houseboats that will continue on as long as the service we received is instilled in all of the staff each and every day.  As for all of the Trahan, Pippin and Pontiff families who shared this special week with Wake Zone Luxury Houseboats, you have earned a customer in us for life on Lake Ouachita!

Thanks for the warm hospitality during our rental last month, by far the nicest houseboat rental we've done and we've done a few. The lake is just a gem. The boat was simply spectacular, from the obvious attention given to every detail in stocking the kitchen to the great audio/video system everything was well beyond our expectations. We will certainly be back. Attached is an early morning shot of the houseboat and our aqua toys as my son Kyle practices his balancing in preparation for the day on the lake. Great job guys, keep it up.

My wife, Julie and I had a great time on our 16 X 66 Foot "Royal Flush" Houseboat vacation with our sons Grant (21), Austin (19), Matt (16) and Frank (our 4th "adopted" son, 19, on his first family vacation) and Macy (21), Grant's girlfriend. Macy helped balance it out a bit for Julie, and was a big help come chow time with 5 hungry men!

Our week was full of fun on the water docked on one of the 200+ remote islands in the middle of a massive 40,000 acre, very clean and clear Lake Ouachita (wa-shi-taw), which is in the middle of Arkansas, just west of Hot Springs, in the middle of a National Forrest (no development and plenty of soaring eagles and other wildlife, simply God's amazing beauty).

From the fully decked out "luxury" houseboat (Julie picked it: basically a custom home on the water that drives like a very slow bus on the water) with a water slide and hot tub on the top deck veranda and perch fishing off the side (Grant caught 20+ of those little boogers in a very short time) to the ski boat with skiing, tubing and just touring that massive, scenic lake, to cliff jumping off two HUMONGOUS sets of cliffs 50 and 70 feet tall!

On our guided fishing trip early one morning, Julie caught a HUGE 25+ lb. Striped Bass (and has a big blister on her right index finger to prove it), which will be on our wall next year (the 10 year veteran Fishing Guide was impressed with the catch), and the boys limited out their 3 a piece in just 19 minutes (!) with 9 Striped Bass weighing 12-18 pounds. This was like no other fishing trip we have ever been on. Awesome; not your typical boring fishing trip, to say the least, with poles bending ever time you looked up at times.

Our boys all said it was the best vacation ever. Of course, what else do you expect from four young men being outdoors on the water doing adventurous, and sometimes dangerous, stuff any time of the day we wanted too? Great fun!

What a great way to spend the 4th of July!  Our family celebrated their 19th Christmas in July.  Cousins from Montgomery, Joshua, Longview, Allen & Quitman (TX) gathered for the long weekend on their first trip on the houseboat and Lake Ouachita.  We had a fantastic time!  Our arrival could not have been any better ~ Red carpet treatment with lots of help to unload enough supplies to last a month!  We would DEFINETELY recommend this vacation to our friends!  The boat makes the Hamptons look bad.

Thank you for sharing your luxurious houseboat with us.  We had so much fun skipping rocks, tubing, fishing, knee boarding, and exploring he islands.  The kids did not take the Nintendo out once.  We are so glad our kids got the experience this wonderful vacation.  Your boat is first class.  We truly appreciate all the special touches and the friendly owners and staff.  We hope to be back next year; we want to make this a family tradition.

Once again we all had a fabulous time.  This is our 5th year renting a houseboat from Wake Zone.  Every year we don't want to leave come Monday morning.  This was our 1st time on the Suzanne.  WOW!  What a beautiful boat.  The kids love jumping off the back and going down the slide.  Thanks for the memories!

5 families, 11 adults and 8 kids under 1 roof = potential disaster right ~ instead we have decided to make this an annual event!  Beautiful boat, bonfires & marshmallows, The Milky Way, bouncing behind the speed boat, hot tub and plenty of beverages and food.  Happy & tired kids along with relaxed adults = Great Vacation!!  We'll be back!

We had an excellent time on the houseboat!  We came here to surprise my sister for her 40^th birthday.  What a great surprise and what a great vacation.  We had 4 families with 6 kids, aging from 4 to 8 ½ years old.  Each child was entertained with swimming, the side, tubing, building rock towers, bonfires and searching for crystals.  The boat was big enough for everyone - we all had enough space to retreat to, if need be.  Docking on the island was spectacular – good exploring, excellent sunsets and the most stars in the night time sky that we had ever seen.  We can’t wait to come back!  Thank you, Wake Zone, for a great Vacation!
